Happy 1st Birthday Eliza!

My sweet baby girl is officially ONE!  We celebrated Eliza this weekend and I can't wait for our pictures to arrive from the photographer!  I was honored to work with several wonderful vendors who all added so much to her celebration.  I will be showing off their goodies and bragging on each one very soon!  Meanwhile, enjoy a glimpse of our love and the smile that motivates all the hard work.  She and her big sisters make it worth every minute! :)

Love it! We are just a few days away from our sweet E's celebration and I can't wait to see what she thinks of her first taste of sugar!!

Edible Bird Nests: Fun Party Food

Pinterest, Oh Pinterest! So much cuteness! A few days ago, I spotted these adorable edible nests and thought they would be a fun food craft for the girls. I am homeschooling for pre-school and we are studying the letter N right now. We read The Best Nest by P.D. Eastman, "cooked" up our crafty nests and the girls loved it!! They were very tasty too! We wrapped up a few to share, and then it dawned on me... this would be so cute as a baby shower favor or little birdie party food! I love pink and navy! I'm such a preppy girl at heart and this spring I'm working on a new pink and navy collection that will be just perfect for my birthday girl. It is sooo hard to believe that my sweet Eliza will be a year in a month and a half! Time to get working fast!!

I Heart Striped Straws

Does anyone else have a great love for striped straws? Love, love them! I could have some in every color and it would just make me happy. On top of that, I came across this sign via The Sweetest Occasion and it just made me smile! I grew up in Michigan for the first 11 years of my life and pop is what we called all soda drinks. Now living in the south, all sodas are called "coke". Whether you are drinking Sprite, Pepsi, or Coke, it doesn't matter.... you are drinking a "Coke"! ;)
