Vintage Red Wagon Collection: Holley's Baby Sprinkle

This weekend, I was very excited to help with the party decor for my sweet friend Holley's Baby Sprinkle. I just love the "old fashion" feel of the Red Wagon collection. I also admit that I love licorice and popcorn, which just so happened to be the only two food items that not a single guest touched... except ME!! It was quite a shame when I had to bring home all the candy leftovers! It's just a good thing that my pregnancy glucose test is tomorrow, not yesterday. I had a few too many Red Vines while taking all these fun pictures. So enough of my silly cravings, check out the latest collection from The Sweet Peach Paperie!
I bought the mason jars for the girls' garden party and have used them several times since. They are a great item to have for parties!! I bought the jars at Walmart, but have also seen them at Kroger... $6 for a case of 12 glasses. Add some ribbon and a paper straw and they made the cutest addition to the "old fashion" theme. The paper straws were purchased from a little store in Maine called Rock Paper Scissors. I read about their shop through a great blog I just found called Peach and Pearl. She sounds like my kind of girl with a blog name like that! ;) So I called Rock Paper Scissors on the phone and had my straws ordered within 5 minutes. Love those!! Thank you Peach and Pearl for sharing how to find them at such a great price! The red wagon balloons can be found at partypail.com as well as many other online party shops. I also loved that the hostess of the shower had a red wagon and thought to use it for the gifts. So cute! If you are hosting an outdoor shower or party, wagons are also great filled with ice and holding your drinks. Some old fashion red soda pops would be adorable!!

Coming Soon...

It has been an exciting and full week for The Sweet Peach Paperie! It also happened to be "Blizzard 2011" in Atlanta, at least according to the news and bread aisle. With 6 inches of snow, the city shut down and that included my print shop and mail delivery.... for three days!! Thank you to my non-southern customers for being undertanding that your orders were a bit delayed. I'm sure it sounded crazy to those in the north that a few inches of snow can put a city in such turmoil, but it's sadly true! ;)

Other much more exciting news is my first contest giveaway!!! I'm flying out of town tomorrow for a girlfriend getaway so check back on Tuesday for all the rules. Just to entice you, here is the prize...

Jungle Safari Party

Flat Notecards

I've had lots of orders for flat notes lately and wanted to show you a few new designs! The flat note cards are available with any party collection to be used as coordinating thank you notes. I also have lots of fun designs that make great gifts and can be customized to any color you'd like. One set of 20 flat notes is $10, which is the perfect teacher gift, hostess gift or birthday surprise. Tula Designs Meets The Sweet Peach Paperie!!

As you can see, a few changes have taken place at Tula Designs over the weekend! After opening my new etsy shop, I decided it would be best if my blog, email, business cards, etc. all match up as to not confuse my customers! This type A girl likes things to coordinate! ;) So, I'm excited to say that Tula Designs is offically The Sweet Peach Paperie!!! The same place as always, just a different name. You will still be able to reach my blog at http://tuladesigns.blogspot.com. I don't want to lose any of my past customers! You can also visit www.sweetpeachpaperie.com and arrive as well to my new look for the new year!

Over the next couple of months, my goal is to add lots more of my invitations and party collections to my etsy shop. With a new baby arriving in April, I will be taking maternity leave and not able to keep up with the high demand of printed orders. With the PDF files available for purchase in my shop, I will still be able to meet your party needs while taking a small break from my blog and printed orders.

With that, if you have a party, shower or event coming in late April or May and you will want me to professionally print for you, please send your orders in the weeks to come!! Think ahead and it will give you all the more time to work on the fun party details as your spring date gets closer! :)

Whew, what a week!!

Wow, what a week!! I think someone secretly shared my name on google! It amazes me every day at how many customers are just finding my little blog when searching for invites and party decor. I've even had my first international customer this week! (Just wait until you see the picture of this ADORABLE child named Zara from Australia!!) An exciting week full of orders, but it has really put me BEHIND!! I shared this photo last Spring, but it's too cute to not post once more. Whew!! I want so badly to finish my blog makeover and show you my new look for 2011, but it will have to wait just a couple more days! Until then.... :)

I so enjoyed my break with my family, but now it is back to work, which I LOVE too! :) I have sooooo many fun things to show you, especially after not blogging for almost 2 weeks. Merry Christmas from My Family to Yours!

It has been a wondeful Christmas season and I want to sincerely thank you for all your business! I just love being a part of making the day special for someone else! Birthdays, baby showers, weddings and most importantly, Christmas are a true reason to celebrate! With that, I want to wish all of you a very Merry Christmas! I will be taking the next week off to celebrate with my family so you won't see any new posts for a few days. I will be responding to emails, but taking a small vacation from orders and blogging. Monkey Party Invitation and Ideas

Last spring, I designed this invitation for a customer and have continued to sell it to monkey after monkey! :) Change the colors, customize the wording and you have a brand new monkey party. My most recent customer requested the following primary colors and it has been my favorite so I wanted to share.

Kara posts adorable pictures every day from real parties so it is a wonderful place to look for great ideas on how to use all my paper goodies. New Year Cards

It's hard to believe, but Christmas is only 9 days away!! It is about too late to order printed holiday cards (unless you want them to arrive the day before Christmas!), but printable card files are still available. Send me your picture and greeting and I will reply with a printable card file within the day. You can print your cards yourself or send them to your local print shop and still have your Christmas cards out in the nick of time! :)

New Year cards are another option that have been requested. Any of the card layouts from my Christmas collection can become the colors of your choice and the perfect New Year card...
