Cupcake Party: Polka Dot and Stripe 1st Birthday Invitations

Forgive my lack of regular posts over the last couple of weeks!! I have been BUSY, BUSY with orders, but loving it! :)

Here is one that is fresh on my mind and I'm just loving the theme.... pink and aqua polka dots and stripes. So simple and sooo many possibilities! I had the perfect design hidden away in my invite closet so with a few color changes, it was ready for this little cupcake's 1st birthday!

Thanksgiving is next week... it's time to order your Christmas cards! I have a few more classic designs in damask and lattice. If you like the design, but prefer a chocolate brown or maybe black and white, let me know and we can customize the colors just for you.
I've been on a bit of a damask kick this week! :)

Black and White Damask Invites

I designed these invitations for my dear friend Lisa who is throwing a 60th birthday for her mom. The black and white damask with red accents was the perfect fit for a birthday in the holiday season! These would also make great invites for a holiday dinner party or Christmas event.

Chocolate and Cream Classic Crib Collection

A couple weekends ago, I helped host a baby shower for my very sweet friend Lyndsay. She is expecting her first baby in January, but they are waiting to be surprised as to whether the baby is a boy or girl! :) Her nursery is very classic and beautifully decorated in chocolate and cream so that became the inspiration for her shower decor. Perfect for girl or boy, the classic crib collection...

Unfortunately, I ate all the chocolates before I could get a picture of the favor bags!! A pregnant girl and chocolate doesn't last too long together! ;) I do have pictures of the adorable hostess gifts that Lyndsay made. The tissue and wrapping were so perfect that I had to save opening mine until I got home! The mommy-to-be found the tissue at HomeGoods, which may be difficult to find again, but the idea was too cute!!

Holiday Gift Tags and Enclosures

I've made some new holiday tags and enclosure cards to add to this year's Christmas collection! Any style can be printed on 100lb. linen cardstock or printed as stickers. A few years ago, my sister-in-law gave me some adorable Christmas enclosures and it was one of my very favorite gifts. Little did I know I would be making them myself a few years later! :) Think of those on your Christmas list!!

Help Needed: Name my Etsy Shop!! :)

It's still a bit wild to see how far things have come over the last year and how much fun I've had in the process. I never planned for all this, but have loved seeing a hobby turn into something more! For months, I've been wanting to open an etsy shop as a bit easier way to sell my paper goodies. Crazy enough, I've been so busy with all my sales through word of mouth and this blog that I haven't been able to do more. I think I'm finally ready and by putting it out there, it will push me to get it done!! :)

So I need some help!! I can be creative with paper, but when it comes to choosing a shop name or fun logo, that is not my expertise. Do you have any suggestions for my new shop?? Tula Designs is surprising already a shop on etsy so I need to get really creative. If the name is the slightest bit "normal" than it is probably not available. If you think of something fun, email me your suggestions or leave a comment below!! If your idea helps me open my shop, I will return my thanks with some personalized Christmas tags or enclosure cards of your choice!

Thanks so much for your help! Hopefully I will have some big shop opening news in the weeks to come!! :)

Classic Carriage Collection: Mandy's Baby Shower!

A few weekends ago, I was honored to help host a baby shower for one of my BFFs, Mandy. Mandy and I met in graduate school, moved to Atlanta together, lived together, taught 3rd grade at the same school together and got married 3 weeks apart. The only thing left was to have babies together. So here we are...Mandy is expecting her first little girl in January and I will be expecting again in April! Check, check, we are pretty good at this! :)

Here is the collection I put together for her special day. My favorite decorating detail was the classic carriage that I borrowed from my mom. It was her stroller as a baby and was the perfect welcome scene for this classic carriage shower...

Garden Party Decorations for SALE!

I'm organizing at my house and the decorations from the girls' garden party are taking up lots of room! I planned to wait until the spring to sell their party decor, but decided some may be already in the planning mood for your little gal's next party. For $100, your party is now ready for you! With exception to a crack in one of the yellow utensil pots, everything is in PERFECT condition and ready to make someone's garden party very special! This sale includes one banner from the garden party collection and one banner handmade with a Circuit machine. All other paper products (invites, cupcake toppers, etc.) would need to be ordered and are not included in the $100 sale. However, a discount price would be available on the remaining order! :) To see pictures of the items in use, scroll down to the girls' garden party at the bottom of the page. If you are interested, send me an email. Thanks so much!

Sweet Shoppe Collection: Molly's 1st Birthday!!

With lots of inspiration from the girls' lollipop party, I put together a cupcake sweet shoppe for Molly's 1st birthday! Molly's momma had already found her adorable tank top and bib from MakMay Designs so I designed her invites and party decor to go along with her cupcake party outfit. I just love all the bright colors and the bazillion ideas that come along with any kind of sweet shoppe theme! Of all the details, the toothbrush favor was my favorite! I thought that was the perfect addition to the candy buffet! :)
