Birth Announcements: Meet Abby

Meet Abby! This adorable little lady is the daughter of one of my closest friends and has been very near to my heart over the the last week. She is currently at the hospital recovering from a very big heart surgery! She is quite the fighter so I wanted to show her off today along with this new birth announcement. Love you, sweet Abby! :)

Pink and Navy Whale Collection

Last summer, I designed a whale collection for a baby shower and recently, it has become very popular again. I think it's because of Pottery Barn! :) Whenever they design a new bedding collection, I seem to get lots of requests for that same theme. The whale theme for the boys is light blues and navy, but here is something fun for the girls too. One of my customers even requested this very cute wording.... "She's sweet and bubby and waves of fun, our little squirt is turning one!" So cute and officially stolen! I Love it! Photo compliments of Holly Kittle Photography

Dump Truck Invitation: Construction Zone Collection

Have you thought I went on an early maternity leave?! :) WOW!!! It has been a whirlwind of orders lately and I continue to be in awe of how many new customers are finding this tiny blog of mine. Yesterday, I even received an order from someone who lives very close to where I grew up, with no connection to my Michigan family. Such a small world sometimes! :)

I have been working very hard on pumping up my collections for the little guys as I know so many are more favored toward the girls. Well, you can't get more boyish than dump trucks! Check out the invitation for my new Construction Zone Collection and know that I'll be working on some trains next. For the little men in your life......

Hawaiian Hibiscus Invitation

Oh to be in Hawaii right now!!! This simple, yet tropical invitation was designed for a bride-to-be who will be having a destination wedding in the islands of Hawaii! Her bridesmaids will be wearing teal dresses so it was used as the color theme for her shower invitations as well.
I've had lots of requests for custom orders lately and my schedule for new designs is quite booked at the moment. However, please email me at sweetpeachpaperie@gmail.com with your ideas or desires. Know that there is a custom fee for the time and art of new designs. It is also possible that I may have just what you are looking for and have simply not posted it yet. Always check and I'm happy to help if I can! :)

Maternity Leave Coming Soon!

It's hard to believe that March is here!! The arrival of our next little lady is fast approaching so I wanted to remind everyone of my upcoming maternity leave. The baby is due the end of April so I plan to take orders through the beginning of April as long as she stays put! :) With that, please be thinking ahead to your May and June party needs!! I will be taking off most of May for maternity leave and will not be shipping printed orders. It is my plan to have my etsy shop filled with my digital files to allow for self printing during my time away. So send in your orders over the next month for those May and June parties and we'll make it happen! :) Thanks so much!

Evangeline's Dol: A Traditional Korean 1st Birthday

A couple months ago, I was honored when Evangeline's sweet mom contacted me to help with her daughter's 1st birthday. It is a traditional Korean celebration and unlike any party that I have worked on before. I have learned so much about the traditions of a Korean Dol and I can't wait to actually see it all come together! I will have so many fun pictures to show you in a few weeks, but until then, take a peek at the invitation that was designed for EV's big celebration! I can't take any credit for the hanbok though. Evangeline's very talented Dad created the traditonal dress with perfection!

Skate Away: Roller Skating Party Invitations

A year ago, when I first started designing invitations, I made some party decor for Miss Hayley and her roller skating party. Those particular invites were made out of cardstock and scrapbook paper. After lots of requests for those same invites, I designed a very similar digital design. Fortunately, business has grown far more than I ever expected over the last year and no longer allows for handmade invites. So check out the following for your roller skating star! :) Cupcake toppers, banners, favor tags, stickers and all the coordinating decor are also available!

With a couple color changes and a sailboat, the Little Sailor Collection came to be! A nautical themed party would also make a great spring or summer birthday if you have a little sailor at your house ! Favor tags...

Cupcake Stand Tutorial

How cute are these DIY cupcake stands!! A trip to the Dollar Tree and some spray paint from Home Depot could make a fun little project for your next party! This particular stand would look adorable with my Sweet Shoppe Cupcake collection, but the fun part is that you can make them any colors you want! For all the directions to make your own cupcake stand, check out this great tutorial from Joy's Hope! I would attempt to share the directions myself, but Julie's entertaining post gets you pretty excited to give it a try. So go check out her adorable blog and let me know how it goes! :)

Valentines SALE!!

Valentine's Day is less than a week away! Get creative with your valentines this year and use some sweet favor tags! The valentine favor tags will only be offered as printable files, but that means you can print as many as you'd like! The PDF file will be emailed within 24 hours for $8. If you are an official "Follower" of The Sweet Peach Paperie, you will receive the Valentine file for $4!!! :) So become a Follower below on the right side of the page and order your valentine cards at an extra great price! My favors are for a toddler party so I added Cheerioooos to go along with the "Look Whoooo Loves You" card. For the "V is for Valentine" favor, I found some great mini alphabet flash cards at the dollar store. I went in search of the magnetic alphabet letters, but loved the cards even more. Wrap with a half sheet of tissue paper, add to a favor bag (Hobby Lobby) and an extremely inexpensive Valentine becomes really cute! :)

To receive your valentine favor tags, please email sweetpeachpaperie@gmail.com and let me know which design you would like. I will send your paypal invoice and PDF file once I receive payment. Happy Valentine's Day!! :)

Favor Boxes

I've had lots of customers ask about these favor boxes and where to find them. They are sold at Walmart! They are found in the party supply section and come in a pack of 8 for $1.50. I've seen red, blue, bright pink, yellow, and lime boxes. They make perfect snack boxes or mini popcorn holders. Add a personalized sticker and you have a very cute favor or fun treat for your party!
