On the 12th Day of Christmas....

....my true love gave to me...Once upon a time, we actually wrote to each other with a pen and paper. Now, our hands start to cramp when we address our holiday cards! This Christmas, let's take some time, thought and energy to write a special letter. Tell your BFF the top 10 things you enjoy about her. Share with your husband how much you respect him and appreciate his hard work. Write a letter to your children about who they are this Christmas and who you desire them to become. I LOVE letters and special notes, and I'm sure there are plenty of those around us who could use some encouraging words this season. With all our blogging and emailing, we need to take a little time to let our love and handwriting be known!! :)

Merry Christmas Everyone!!! I hope you have enjoyed the last 12 Days! I'll be taking a bit of a blogging vacation over the next few weeks. I'll be in and out, but mostly finishing your orders, my own shopping and spending time with my 3 best girls! Enjoy His season!! Love, Tracy :)

On the 9th Day of Christmas....

Have y'all heard of Xperience Days? It is a neat website full of gifts that are lessons, classes or unique adventure experiences available in several major cities. Some are crazy expensive. For example, if you want to experience the thrill of being a air combat fighter, you can shell out $2000+. Crazy!! But there are a lot of very reasonable ideas as well. You can take an introductory flying class for just over $100. I did this in college and wow, that was a memory! You can also check your local county recreation center for fun classes. One of the girls' presents will be to take their first ballet or gymnastics class. I can't wait to see them in their little pink leotards! Or maybe a cooking class for two? What a fun date that would be! If you have a Whole Foods in your area, they offer culinary classes for a reasonable price. Last year, I gave my dad the gift of a photography class. We took it together and that was half the fun to create a memory and learn a few things too! There is also a wine tasting class, stock car race, and biplane rides to name a few of the Atlanta possibilities. Lots of ideas for the guy in your life. Let me know if anyone gets adventurous! I'd love to hear! :)

On the 8th Day of Christmas...

On the 8th Day of Christmas, my true love gave to me.... hope! Hope for a child who needs a gift far more than any of us! Consider a gift from the very unique World Vision catalog. A goat for $75, 2 chickens for $25, clean water, educational supplies, and the list goes on! With over 100 gifts, there is something very special you can give in honor a friend or family member. One year, my sister-in-law gave us this wonderful gift in honor of our family. Our niece painted a small canvas of a chicken as a reminder of the gift that was given. Think of the fun ways you could present such a special gift of hope! :)

On the 5th Day of Christmas...

More than ANY gift under the tree, my prized present is one of quality time. Christmas morning ends very quickly, but how precious to make a tradition with your children, family and friends to have a special gift to come. On the 5th Day of Christmas, my true love gave to me.... Quality Time Coupons!
Coupons have always been a bit of a tradition in my family and I plan to continue that fun with my little ladies. My husband has a date or quality time outing with one of the big girls almost every Saturday morning. With having twins, we work very hard to be sure they have time alone since their lives are ALWAYS together!! It's now my turn to get in on the fun and this Christmas, they will each be receiving a special coupon for a special date with me! :)

So think about a gift of time.... a father-son camping weekend, a dinner and movie with your BFF, a much needed getaway with your hubbie! Or maybe your gift is a service. Last year for Christmas, my dad built me an incredible wall unit bookcase with his wood working talents. So many possibilities! Make it extra cute with a printable coupon of your choice for $5. Choose your colors, wording and size. An 8x10 can be wrapped and given as a gift or a small 4x6 would fit perfectly in your stocking. Any invitation or enclosure style is also available as a coupon. To place your order, email sweetpeachpaperie@gmail.com

On The 1st Day of Christmas....

I am ALWAYS looking and asking for new Christmas ideas!! And I'm sure I'm not the only one so I thought it would be fun to put together a "12 Days of Christmas" holiday gift guide as a little inspiration for your shopping adventures. Lots of these gifts are those I have received and loved or I am putting on my wish list... and hopefully my family is reading!! ;) Join the fun! I'd love to hear your gift ideas too!! On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me.....

So obviously, I have just a small thing for paper and always have. I remember writing my name over and over again in my ever precious Lisa Frank spiral notebook in 5th grade, attempting to perfect my cursive signature. Through high school, college and pre-children, I journaled regularly. I love writing and looking back at my thoughts in years past. Unfortunately, life does not allow for it quite as much these days. So I LOVED this gift and use it every day.... It is a mini journal in size and space. There is only room for about 5 lines so literally, it's a thought a day. The perfect place to write a prayer of thanks, a special quote or moment from your day. You can buy it at Barnes N Noble for less than $16. They also have a perfect one for new moms in either pink or blue.... A majority of my entries deal with motherhood. I write down cute things the girls said, big firsts, and anything that would normally be put on a post-it for my large pile of "needs to be written in the baby book one day!" Well, one day never seems to come, so I love this journal! And what is really fun too- each page is the full 5 years so you cycle through the book 5 times and see what you wrote the year before as you journal for your day. It's way cute! Pair it with some personalized enclosure cards or Sweet Peach notes and you have a wonderful gift for the sentimental paper lover!

The 12 Days of Christmas....

A little fun to come!! Check back this evening for night one of The Sweet Peach 2011 holiday gift guide! :)

Fresh on the Farm Collection: Maggie's 2nd Birthday Party

Alrighty friends, prepare yourself. This is one sweet party! Such cute details, an adorable birthday girl and beautiful photography! Maggie's 2nd Birthday....

The beautiful photos are compliments of Andrea Wood Photography. You can become a fan of her Facebook page HERE or visit her website HERE. If you are in the Atlanta area and need a photographer, check her out! This is my absolute favorite picture that she captured. That would be a framer!Be still my heart! Could the birthday girl be any cuter?! Love her adorable red barn smocked dress! I am a sucker for smocking!
Maggie's creative momma did an adorable job of pulling together all the details! I love the centerpiece topped with the coordinating welcome sign. She purchased the hay bales from Michaels and found all the animals in the dollar bins at Target! She used gingham throughout the party including The Sweet Peach paper decor, fabric table square and gingham plates from Oriental Trading.
One cute detail not captured in the pictures were the signs leading to the backyard. Maggie's momma put "Moooove this way", "Baaaack here" and "Ewe made it!" What fun awaiting when they arrived!
The menu for this barnyard bash included the adorable "Hay Bales" of pretzels and hemp string, "Maggie's Garden" of veggies, "Cow Tails" aka string cheese, and "Orchard Fruits" which were bushel baskets filled with whole apples and pears.
All the drinks were held in a red wheel barrow. Love that! Horizon individual milks with the cute cow logo, farm juice boxes from Trader Joes and water bottles with coordinating gingham wraps from the Fresh on the Farm Collection were ready for the little guests.
This was one great petting zoo! The animals seem so sweet and gentle according to the pictures and Maggie's momma raved about the Little Red Barn Petting Farm. Visit their website. It made me laugh! I was expected a little "country" website, but instead was greeted by all the friends. Very cute!
This picture should be a pretty good testimony for their business! Maggie's big brother had plenty of fun too!
Another Target dollar bin find! Now this one is awesome! How perfect are these red barn favor bags?! The felt barn bags were filled with small favor bags of the plastic farm animals, farm bubbles from Party City and a personalized sippy cup by The Paperdoll. That is one great party favor!

And cupcake toppers in coordinating gingham cupcake bake cups to top it all off...

Great work, Paula!! And Happy 2nd Birthday to you, sweet Maggie! We can't wait to see what your momma has up her sleeve for next year! :)
